New Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Framework

A Presentation of the New Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Framework was held at the BPML Conference Hall, Cyber Tower 1, Ebène on 30 June 2016 with the objective to shedding light on the new RPL Guidelines and its implementation to all the stakeholders including employers. The Presentation was preceded by a two-day Capacity Building Workshop on 28 and 29 June 2016 aiming to strengthen capacity of stakeholders to conduct RPL at higher levels of the National Qualifications Framework namely at NQF levels 4, 5 and 6. The presentation and Workshop were facilitated by two foreign Resource Persons namely Dr John Mitchell O’Toole, Senior Lecturer at the School of Education of the University of Newcastle, Australia and Dr (Mrs) Dhanabakium Lukshmi (Vasintha) Veeran, Consultant in the field of Recognition of Prior Learning in Social Work Practice in South Africa who shared their valuable experience and knowledge.
